Hello everyone and welcome to my cool new blog. I like the blue square motif; I feel that it reflects the fact that I am now a one-year-old. I am also glad that my mom has finally come to the realization that I AM the center of the universe. Even I am amazed at all I can do at my incredibly young age. HOWEVER, it has come to my attention that there is another "Superbaby" out there... It's true - I saw him on TV...

I just want EVERYONE to know... Jack-Jack has got NOTHIN' on me!

I am WAY cuter... I have more hair, and I am sure I can eat more than he can! I can make myself invisible, (well, I can hide around a corner REALLY fast) and I can detect a bottle of milk miles away (well, maybe not miles, but I know when it's coming!)

Sure, he can turn into a ball of fire, but can he melt hearts in an instant? I can - I blow kisses and Mom goes ga-ga... I think I have made my point. I AM THE GREATEST SUPERBABY IN THE WORLD!!!

Welcome to Nathaniel Jacob's world! I apologize to those of you who followed my instructions on Nathan's baby blog and there was nothing to see! :) Time has gotten away from me but now I am getting back on track.

So much has changed at home since his first birthday 1 1/2 months ago... Nathan went from taking his first tentative steps to becoming a wildman on the loose! He is the most curious little boy I have ever seen... I am saying "No touch, Nathaniel" about 1 million times a day. It's so interesting to watch his logic - for instance, my mom has knobs on her kitchen cabinets. He'll go to touch one and we'll tell him the famous phrase, and THEN he walks over to the next knob and grabs it, like what we said for THAT knob doesn't necessarily apply to THIS knob. He tries to be so slick...

I find myself thinking back to one year ago and all the craziness that was my life, I realize how quickly time fades and how quickly one can forget the little things... because of that I will be doing much better at writing and posting pictures. His baby blog has become so precious to me ~ I really want him to know when he grows up how he was when he was little. Besides, I never want to forget the countless moments with him... our little boy is growing so fast.
